In a secluded, forgotten village near where a highway will soon be built, a stranger arrives. The villagers, full of distrust and fear of the change that the road will bring, suspect that the stranger is connected to this and is hiding his true intentions. A few misunderstandings and lies are enough for the villagers’ hostility toward the stranger to escalate into open conflict. Jana, a girl from the village who has fallen in love with the stranger, realizes that she is the only one who can save him from the danger looming over him.
