Synopsis:
The events that defined the future coexistence of Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo. The main character of the film, Serbian doctor Ilija Jugović, is punished by being transferred to a hospital in Prizren. There, he meets history professor Ljubo Božović—the RUSSIAN CONSUL—who appears to be a psychiatric patient claiming that “Russia will soon become Russia again, and Kosovo will once again be Serbian.” Božović faces opposition from local Albanian authorities and separatists who attempt to evict him, but Doctor Jugović steps in to protect him.
